Edward H. Stevenson

STEVENSON, Edward H. - Age 90, passed away February 1, 1998 in Portland, Oregon after a short illness. Mr. Stevenson was born July 13, 1907 in Garvin, Oklahoma. He worked as a contractor until retiring in 1972. Edward and his wife Edith were long-time residents of Myrtle Creek before moving to the Portland area in 1989. Survivors include his wife Edith (Shunkey) Stevenson; four sons, Robert L. Stevenson of Sherwood, Oregon, Kenneth R. Watson of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Gene Watson of Tacoma, Washington and Doug Watson of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; daughter Helen Adams of Burien, Washington; sister, Katie Hulsey of Hugo, Oklahoma; 20 Grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held February 4, 1998 at 1 p.m. at Riverview Abbey in Portland. Donations may be made to the Tigard Loaves & Fishes (Meals on Wheels) in Mr. Stevenson's name. RIVERVIEW ABBEY has been entrusted with arrangements.
