Catherine was born in 1803. She is the daughter of John Stever and Susannah Russe. She passed away in 1876.

• Research Note: Stever is given as her maiden name in her daughter Elizabeth's death records. Trees online have her as the daughter of John Stever 1788-1833 and Sarah Carpenter- Their daughter, Catherine was born 1825 and md a Ralph Thompson.
• Research Update: Catherine is the daughter of John Stever and Susannah Russe. Catherine's daughter, Maria married a Charles W Stever. I build his tree in the hopes they were cousins who married. His grandparents were John and Susanna. Build their family and found they had a Caty born in 1803! Good chance this was the correct Catherine, but how to prove it. Then while adding other siblings with sources, I found Catherine's sister, Nancy (born in 1807) on the 1850 Census - and she had a Hannah Brice living with her - Catherine's daughter was living with Catherine's sister. Nice when it all comes together :-)
