Arthur Steward was born in 1884. He was the son of James Steward and Elizabeth Adcock. [1]
In 1891, Arthur was residing with his parents, seven brothers, two sisters, maternal grandmother and a servant, in Prittlewell, Essex. Arthur's father was a builder and it's likely some of his older brothers were helping out in a family business as a couple were painters and at least one was a carpenter. [2]
Arthur's father passed away in 1899 and in 1901, his mother was the head of the household, existing on her own means. Arthur was the youngest of three sons in the household, along with the servant. [3]
Arthur's mother passed away in 1904.
It's unclear what happened to Arthur after 1901, so if you can help, please contribute to this profile to make it more complete. Did he marry, or have children? Where did he die.
