Re: Kenneth MacKenzie, Lord Fortrose (1717-1761 and Lady Mary Stewart (1720 -1751)

Married 1771

They had the following children, in this order: 1) Margaret b.c.1742 married 4th June 1785, William Webb of London. No Known issue

2) Maria b.c 1743, married as his second wife of Tower House, Arundel. Issue: Kenneth Howard, Earl of Effingham

3) Kenneth MacKenzie b. 1744, 1st and last Earl of seaforth married Lady Caroline Stanhope issue: Lady Caroline MacKenzie

4) Agnes MacKenzie married J Douglas I have found no records of any issue

5) Catherine b.c 1745 married 1st March 1773 Thomas Griffin Tarpley Dr of Medicine. Issue: they had at least one son, also called Thomas Griffin Tarpley

6) Frances MacKenzie b.c 1749 married Colonel Joseph Wall. Joseph Wall was Governor of Goree and was hanged in 1802 for having a soldier flogged to death. Issue: there were issue, which I haven't been able to trace, as I suspect they changed their name after Joseph Wall was hung.

7) Euphemia b. 1750 married 2nd ariln1771, Cannongate, William Stewart of Castlee Stewart, Penninghame.

In a report from a Genealogist from Scotland (commissioned by a member of my family), it states Euphemia MacKenzie " in addition to her four daughters, Mary, Jane, Euphemia and Catherine she also made bequests to her "niece Mrs B (H) arrington" and "Miss Anne Brown" . I haven't seen the original will, however I hope to obtain a copy Please note. I have been collecting some of this information for the last sixteen years, and have over 14 folders with various print offs and hand written notes in them.

Hopefully one day I will have time to go through them all and correlate them.

I also have family information on some things: eg The Dairy of a Girl in France 1821, written by Mary Browne granddaughter of Euphemia. Information written by John Shore, 2nd Lord Teignmouth, who Caroline Browne, Euphemia's granddaughter married.

Unfortuneately information on the Net disappears and isn't always correct.

My main reference is Stirnet.com, a Genealogy site, which I have printed information off. The Scots Peerage.

I do have other sources.

Any help in adding with adding the above information I have listed would be gratefully appreciated. As I haven't been able to add the other children to Lady Mary Stewart and Kenneth MacKenzie, Lord Fortroe, as their profile is protected.

I also have other information about the Stewarts of Castle Stewart, Penninghame pre 1700, which I have been unable to add. any help with adding this would also be grately appreciated.

Well spotted and duly changed. But when and to whom was Stewart-13798 born?
Did Anne Keith Stewart really give birth at age 11? Shows she was born 1699 and her daughter born 1710? www.Geni.com shows her born 1721 instead of the 1710 posted on here.
