Biography

1776 Project
James Stewart served with Virginia during the American Revolution.

James Elliott Stewart was born in 1769 the son of Ralph Stewart and Mary Ann (Elliot) Stewart. He passed away in 1835. James was a Virginia Fifer in Capt. Caperton Co. in the Revolutionary War. James is buried in the Buchanan Chapel Cemetery, Zelda, Lawrence County, Kentucky, [1].
