William Stewart (2nd Of Ledcreich and Stronslany) was born about 1600 in Glenbuckie, Balquhidder, Perthshire, Scotland. He was the son of Patrick Stewart (1st of Ledcreich) and his wife Christian Drummond the daughter of John Drummond.[1]

William died 31 Jul 1683. (Dunblane Commissariat Records).[2]
