Biography

Helen was born in 1842, the daughter of Samuel Stewart and Rachel Malcolm. She married Edwin Yingling, and died in 1891.[1][2][3]

In 1850 a Samuel Stewart (39, b. NY, farmer) headed a Fall Creek, IL (Adams County) household with Rachel Stewart (39, b. NY), George Stewart (15, b. NY), Charles Stewart (13, b. NY), Salina Stewart (10, b. IL), Ellen Stewart (8, b. IL), Jane Stewart (6, b. IL), Samuel Stewart (2, b. IL), and Allice (sic) Stewart (72, b. NY).

In 1860 a Samuel Stewart (49, b. NY, laborer) headed a Fall Creek, IL (Adams County) household with Rachel Stewart (48, b. NY), Charles Stewart (22, b. NY), Selina Stewart (20, b. IL), Helen Stewart (18, b. IL), Jane Stewart (14, b. IL), Samuel Stewart (11, b. IL), and Isaac Stewart (9, b. NY).
