Biography
Catherine Stewart was born on 30 November 1822 in Glasgow Lanarkshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of Donald Stewart (1778 – 1862) and his wife Elizabeth Cumming (1789 – 1841).
She passed away on 25 March 1903 in Mount Thom, Pictou, Colchester, Nova Scotia, Canada and was buried in the Bezanson Cemetery, Mount Thom, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Catherine Stewart was married to Ebenezer John Bezanson (1829–1905) on 25 November 1850 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.
