Biography
Tessie was born in 1908.
Possibly the daughter of farmer Isaac Stewart and his wife Annie, enumerated in Hart, Yazoo, Mississippi in 1910[1] and in Leflore, Mississippi in 1920.[2]
Survived by seven sons, Jonas McIntyre (from previous marriage), F. Mack A. Pride Jr., Charley F. Pride, Edward Pride, Joe L. Pride, Harmon Pride and Stephen Pride; three daughters, Bessie McIntyre Chambers, Catherine Sanders and Maxine (Pride) Luster.[3] Harmon Pride, Stephen Pride, Catherine Sanders, and Maxine Pride are still living.[4]
