Biography

Earl was born in 1888. He passed away in 1982. At 14 he lied about his age to get a job as a telegrapher on the railroad which took him to Oregon where he homesteaded a parcel of land. After WWI he returned to Kansas to work on the family farm, leaving behind his homestead but not his love of Oregon. In 1954 he sold the family farm in Kansas and returned to Oregon where he passed and is buried.

Earl played the bingo and piano. In his retirement he led a small band of musicians called The Merry Makers.
