Edwin was born in 1904. He was the son of Lution Stewart and Martha Aikenhead.[1] He lived with his parents and siblings in Humboldt, Saskatchewan in 1906[2] and in New Westminster, British Columbia in 1911.[3] They lived in Lakeside, Victoria, Alberta in 1921.[4]
Edwin lived in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan in 1930, where he was an office equipment salesman.[5]
Edwin married Elizabeth Audrey Swope on 30 Oct 1937 in Detroit.[6] They lived in Detroit in 1940, where Edwin was now a welder,[7] and in St Clair Shores, Macomb, Michigan in 1950.[8]
Edwin and Audrey had two children, including:
Jon P Stewart - born 1940.
Edwin, a former contractor on the Manhattan project, a project to design and build the atomic bomb, passed away in 1986.[9][10]
