In 1914, Eliza was a witness to the marriage of her sister Isabella and John Kennedy at the Holy Trinity Church. Four years later Eliza married in the Holy TrinIty Church to Robert John Sayers of Rinclevin. Witnesses were her brother James and Martha Sayers.
In 1921 Eliza and Robert emigrated to Canada. They sailed on the Cassandra to Quebec arriving 20 June 1921. Their intention was to join his friend and future employer, Samuel Neely Neely-1629 in Ontario.[1]
