Note

Note: Known as "Callie." Last name is written as STUART on records kept by Ethel B. Morrison.
!BIRTH: June 1880 Census for Miami county, Ohio shows Caroline stating that her place of birth was Ohio and she was 32.
!MARRIAGE: Information taken from IGI (International Genealogical Index); which was extracted from marriage records for Miami county, Ohio (Film #549804 1854-1871). States "Callie STEWART md. Herbert FULLER 11 Oct. 1866 in Miami, Ohio."
SOURCES: 1880 US Census for Ohio shows Caroline Fuller as head of household; her brother William Stewart (age 30) living with her and her two children: Mary G. (age 12) and Albert E. (age 10).
SOURCE: 1880 US Census for Nebraska shows "Sinaca Hubble" a white male, widower, age 35, working as a carpenter in the city of York, York county Nebraska, as a partner with William Richtor. William cannot read or write, but Seneca can. Seneca reports he was born in Ohio and his parents were both born in Connecticutt.
CENSUS: 1885 Nebraska State Census, 1 June 1885. Midway Borough, Bradshaw Township, York county. Caroline and Seneca Hubbell are head of home. Caroline's age is given as 41, which would have made her birth year 1844. This doesn't seem likely.
SEARCH-LINKS: Ethel B. Morrison told me in a letter that Mary Gertrude was the only child of her mother's [Callie] first marriage, and that two boys (Bert and Allen Hubble) were born from a second marriage. However, I think this was an error, since records show Gertrude's brother, Albert, was born to the first marriage, also.
RESEARCH-LINKS: 1992 IGI shows birth of Minnie L. to James E. WEBB and Callie FULLER on 9 Sep 1872 in Miami, Ohio (Library Call# 549805). James E. WEBB and Callie M. FULLER were married 21 March 1871 in Miami, Ohio (Library Call# 549804). It is not believed that this is the same Callie Fuller since no mention is made of a daughter Minnie in any family records and she does not appear on the 1880 census in Callie Fuller's household (nor is Callie Fuller's last name changed on the 1880 census). This shows the existence of second Callie Fuller in Miami, Ohio and the importance of verifying records to differentiate the two.
