Looking for a Robert Charles Dale who came to New Zealand in the 1880s.

Does anyone know a kezia Wilkins?

Dale/Wilkins

From Christine Rynhart. Hart, Dale. So I am not related to a Joseph Athol Hart and Mary Jane Pepperell but to Michael Brannan Hart and Elizabeth Hall. Currently looked for a Robert Charles Dale and a Kezia (?)who emmigrated to New Zealand in the 1880s.
Hi, found out that the Joseph Athol Hart that came to New Zealand on the Timandra was married to a lady called - Mary Blank and that his son - also a Joseph married the Mary Jane Pepperell. I have viewed the original birth and marriage certificates so that is correct information. I am not connected with this New Plymouth family but with a John Gibb Hart who married Elizabeth Hall who came to New Zealand in 1851.They settled in Christchurch, South Island of New Zealand. They arrived at Lyttleton. Elizabeth was 12 when she arrived in New Zealand. John Gibb Hart was already in New Zealand - before the first four ships. So I have established the Hart line that I am from. Cheers, Chris Rynhart.I hope that this information may help someone else out there. Hart/ Rynhart/ Stewart.
Hi Chris, Very sorry - I am not sure how to go about leaving notices but I am learning! Debbie told me to leave name tags - I see where to leave them now!! Many thanks,Christine Rynhart
About Joseph Athol Hart ( New Zealand) - I need to correct that Joseph, my great, great grandfather was born in Dev. England in 1806 and died in Moturoa, New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand in 1897 making him 91 years old! I need to correct too that he had more than one child! His children were - Robert, Susannah, Mary Jane, Elizabeth, John and I also read he had one other - I am not sure why the one other is not listed. He came to New Zealand with his wife Mary Jane Pepperell in 1842 - before the first four ships came to New Zealand in 1850. He came on the 'Timandra'.
Hi, Christine. It's fine to ask your genealogical questions on G2G forum and be sure to include surname tags. That way, if cousins are searching, the surname tags will help them find your query.

Hopefully some of the sources in the May 25 message have helped you. If not, continue to research on the internet until you find good documentation. I don't know about NZ, but the U.S. has genealogy departments in their libraries where you can find good information. I wish you success.

Yes I would like to volunteer but ofcourse I know nothing about genealogy but I am very interested in finding out about my family tree as I know virtually nothing about my New Zealand ancestors apart from my mother and father and a few aunts. I am sure that all you wonderful people will be able to help me. I am a New Zealander and live in New Zealand. Thank you, Christine
