I sent you a check-in message several days ago about the 1776 Project to ask you about your past and continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project?
If I don’t hear from you in a week or so, I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things, but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.
We're doing our semi-annual check-in to ask whether you have made contributions to the project in the last six months?
Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the 1776 Project that you respond to this check-in. Please post your response as a reply to this message on your page, for convenience of record keeping.
I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.
If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.
If we don't hear back from you we will assume that you no longer wish to participate in the project and if so, you could rejoin at any time as is convenient for you.
Also, you can put a sticker on your profile You can do so by adding the words Integrators Challenge with the {{ }} in front and back, in your biography.
Thank you and Good Luck!! Dorothy, Integrators Project Coordinator
Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.
I see you have added 1776 Project, a great project. Thank you for joining. For Lowery Ancestors, I suggest Irish Roots Project. Leaders are Leigh Murrin and Maria Maxwell. Click the link to read how to join.
Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list, located at the top of your page, 4th topic on right, under <Find> and <Projects>.
For questions, just ask!

There are category links to add to your ancestor's profiles and research links to learn more about your family. The Project is a good way to consolidate the WikiTree ancestors with historic connections to the years of 1773 (Boston Tea Party) to 1789 (ratification of the U.S. Constitution.) All patriot, loyalist, Hessians, French, Native Americans or any other profiles with a connection to these years should be linked to an appropriate category in the Project.
If you havent already, please set your preferences for your Tags Followed to include 1776 Project and any other tag terms that you wish to follow: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following
Some categories have a template (SAR) to add at the top of a biography. If not, add a category link by putting the category name such as Template:1776 for those who bore arms in the Revolution and Template:1776 for those who contributed patriotic or civil service. Thank you.
Hello Becky...you are very welcome. I don't believe that we are related. It is always nice to receive emails and to collaborate with other profile managers. I usually go through my main family surnames of Evans, Hiatt, Haines and Hanks, all were early Quaker "Society of Friends" settlers in Eastern Pennsylvania and West New Jersey in the late 1600's. Seems like all my ancestors came from south Wales and southern England. If I happen to find any information that may be of some use to the applicable profile managers then I show the possible sources, and if misinformation they can then delete any misleading or conflicting information as they please. Remember, these sources from the internet are considered as "secondary" sources. When you find "primary" sources these are actual evidence or proof, e.g., birth, death, divorce records, military records, census records, property and tax records, family letters, bibles, books, newpaper articles, photographs, cemetery records, etc. I have found that these "secondary" sources sometimes contain good clues as where to look next. Keep researching and have a great genealogy day and enjoy the wikitree.
