Carol Kreklau
COTTAGE GROVE — The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at South Lane Christian Center in Cottage Grove for Carol M. Kreklau of Cottage Grove, who died Dec. 27 of heart failure. She was 84.
She was born Jan. 31, 1926, in Laramie, Wyo., to Rollie and Ethel Holladay Stickley. She married Lloyd Kreklau on Jan. 30, 1982, in Irrigon. He died in 2007.
She graduated from Laramie High School. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Frank Wiley of Caldwell, Idaho, Floyd Wiley of Toledo and Carl Wiley of Cottage Grove; three daughters, Fran Muncey of Colorado Springs, Colo., Carol Wadholm of Garrison, N.D., and Cathy Fowler of Cottage Grove; two brothers, Bud Stickley of Clovis, N.M., and Dale Stickley of Emmett, Idaho; four sisters, Rose Dechand of Umatilla, Ada Sigman and Zeta Smith, both of Emmett, and Lucille Malley of Boise; 28 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Cara Sweeney, died Aug. 31, 2007.
Burial will be Friday at Sears Cemetery in Cottage Grove. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove.[1]
