I wrote to you recently as part of the England Project's six-monthly check-in with our project members. I haven't heard back from you. I hope you are well.
If you could please drop me a quick note to confirm whether you are still interested in the project and wish to remain an active member, that would be very helpful.
If we do not hear from you within the next 2 weeks, we will assume you are no longer active in the England Project and remove you from our list of project members. You would be most welcome to re-apply to join the project at a later time by signing-up on the project’s G2G welcome post.
On behalf of the England Project, I would like to thank you for all your contributions towards the project's goals over the past year. Every English profile we improve helps!
The England Project Leaders are currently doing our six-monthly check-in with all project members.
Are you happy to with your current project team choices? Are there other teams you would like to join or become more active in?
We also welcome any feedback on things you would like to see the project do more of in the future.
I look forward to hearing from you. Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message.
Hi Robert, I recreated that other Tom Allen Jones, including parents, and sources for birth, death, marriage and various census sources. Please make sure in future that you carefully review and source profiles, and look carefully at locations and any inconsistencies before proceeding with a merge. Thanks so much. Gillian
I would like to thank you for all your contributions towards the goals of the England Project during the past six months. We've achieved a huge amount during this period and we couldn't have done it without you and our other project members.
As the England Project Leaders, we are completing our six monthly check-in with all project members.
Are you happy to stay in your current project teams? Which teams are you most active in? Are there other teams you would like to join or become more active in?
Also, do you have any feedback on what the project is doing well and anything we could do better in the future?
Please respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message. I look forward to hearing from you.

New to this site and wanted to say hello. My grandmother’s maiden name is Stiles and she married my grandfather Lloyd L. Leech Jr.
Thank you for your contributions to the Leech ancestry information. My 6th great grandfather was John, brother of Agnes, both of whom came from Armagh, Ireland.

Hi, I noticed your DNA results put you in what the Stiles project calls Cluster L, which is shown to not descend from the supposed John Stiles. Have you looked into this? Normally, with DNA results you can see at least the surnames of close matches.
I noticed that the data for this cluster is remarkably close to kit #360003 (Hitchcock). Since there was indeed a family of Hitchcocks in Springfield, MA around that time, this seems a promising lead. Maybe you've already examined this possibility?
Yes, the last common ancestor of all members of Cluster L is Ephraim Jr. Stiles-65, so the documentation appears to be reliable at least that far back. Cluster "D" has documentation overlap back to John Jr. Stiles-83, but has genetic inconsistency. So, the discrepancy between these clusters appears to have occurred in the mid to late 1600s in the areas of Hampden/Hampshire, Massachusetts or Hartford, Connecticut.
We were chasing down the Hitchcock generic link at one point, but could not manage to link documentation of the two pedigrees in space and time.
Thanks, interesting. I was looking at Springfield, MA as a nexus point. For instance, Sarah (Burt) Hitchcock is the niece of Dorcas (Burt) Stiles, indicating contact between the families.
It turns out the Hitchcock testee I mentioned has an account here. But there doesn't seem to be a Hitchcock DNA project nor many other testees (if any), so there is a lack of raw data to work with. It's apparently not even known which of the colonial Hitchcocks are related to each other, something more DNA testing could resolve.
It's that time of the year again: check-in time! As England Project Leaders, we like to check in with you every six months or so to see how things are progressing. Back in May, we didn't ask for a response due to the rapid emergence of Covid-19 because we understood that people's lives were changing rapidly. While we are still living in a Covid world, we do need to hear back from you this time around
First of all, how are you doing? What are you currently working on? Are you happy with the team(s) you're in, or would you like to change things up?
Secondly, we're looking for some feedback on the Google Group and our Discord server. Do you use either or both of these? If you don't use either, why not? Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve participation and collaboration, either generally or for you personally?
Your England Leaders are completing the six monthly check in with all team members. I wanted to thank you for your work on English Profiles and particularly your work in the Profile Improvement teams.
These are unprecedented and difficult times, and we understand as Project Leaders that your situation may have changed somewhat in the last few months. What we are all able to/ wish to contribute on Wikitree has changed. Please let me know if you are happy with your current role and team choice or if you wish to do something additional or different. Thank you again on behalf of all the project leaders for everything you do.
We appreciate your being part of the England Data Doctor Team and all the work you have done during 2019.
With the New Year starting I am writing to ask if you wish to remain on the England DD Team for 2020. If you could let me know as I am updating the page DD Page]
If you wish too, you can adopt a suggestion or two and a county to work on this year.
I sent you a message a while ago on behalf of the England Project Leaders and have yet to heard back from you. I hope you are well.
One of the requirements of membership in the England Project is that you respond to the six-monthly check-ins.
If I dont hear from you in the next week or so Ill assume you no longer wish to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to rejoin at any time via the G2G sign-up post.
On behalf of the England Leaders, I wanted to say a huge thank you for all your contributions towards the project in the past six months as a Team Member for Bio Builders, Connectors, Data Doctors and Sourcerers. We've achieved a great deal during this time and we couldn't have done it without you.
Are you happy to stay in your current teams and the project as a whole? Are there any other teams you'd like to join? What are we doing well, and what would you like to see us doing differently moving forwards?
Please respond to this message via e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you.
