Biography
Joseph was born in 1676 in Windsor CT son of Henry Stiles and Elizabeth Wilcoxson. On June 3, 1714, returning from a party at night with his fiance Dorothy Stoughton, of Windsor, their boat sank and she was drowned in the Connecticut River.
He never married. He gave some land for a school in Windsor. Died 1756.
