Descendents of both are DNA related to William Stiles and Sarah Fergus.
Also, both sets of descendents have claimed that Benjamin Stiles and Elizabeth King are the parents of their Hattie Stiles.
The case for Hattie Parker being the daughter is much stronger.
Hattie Parker was living in Knox Tennessee with the parents in question in 1880. She married her husband in 188?.[1]
Hattie Bane, however, shows on the 1880 census in living with her husband.
