John was born about 1682.
Must start by pointing out two different sources are using an alternate last name spelling of STIMPSON, which may or may not be inserted as research dictates.
Found what may or may not be the husband of Mary Wadsworth in Find A Grave. For the moment, as research continues, is giving benefit of the Find A Grave link in case it fits other sources, yet unseen. * Find A Grave: Memorial #21163741 John Stimson.
Adding a located Ancestry link, which does three things: 1.) Connects the suggested Mary Wadsworth to the suggested John Stimson (STIMPSON) 2.) Adds father of John with a different name spelling: John STEPHENSON (1645-1695). 3.) Lists two children: Recompense Wadsworth Stimpson (1728-1790) and Judith Stimpson ( 1722-1812 ) . https://www.ancestry.com/genealogy/records/john-stimpson-24-1qbflc.
As the above info is gathered, it can then be run down in Vital Record or other genealogy published material and accepted or denied. Pen what you know or find out ? GW
