Biography

Lewis was born in 1844. He was the son of Henry Stimpson and Julia Atterbury.

Dr. Stimson studied at Yale University and graduated from Bellevue Hospital Medical College. Later, he was a professor at Cornell Medical College and served a a consulting surgeon at several hospitals in New York. He was also an author of several medical texts.

He passed away in 1917. ^{[1] [2]}
