You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

PS Have you noticed on your ancestor profiles on bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try! For profiles for living people, just go to this link. RootsSearch
I am pleased to confirm you as a full member. Now you can start adding your family members.
WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to make your way around more easily.
In order to begin adding your family, you will first need to become a full member (which is free).
To become a member, you need to add a few tags showing genealogy interest and click on the volunteer button. Volunteering simply means you will abide by our honor code of kindness and respect to others and a commitment to good research practices. To volunteer, go to your "My WikiTree" tab at the top right of your screen. Then click on NAV Home Page. It will give you instructions on completing tags. Enter any surnames, locations or events you are interested in. Then be sure to click the Volunteer button at the bottom. A greeter will then confirm your membership and you can take the next step of adding your family.
Just a note to say hi and to let you know that I'm available to answer questions about WikiTree. You can contact me by clicking the link to my name, then sending a private message or posting a comment on my profile page

P.S. Some people have trouble accessing the new member link from their email. If this happens, you can click on it from your profile page.
