Familly oral history says that he had brothers James Stinson and Charles Stinson who came to Canada, and sisters Margaret Stinson who married Mr. Knight and an Sally Stinson who married Mr. McManus. Both sisters remained in Ireland. It has been proposed, but not yet proven, that Charles Stinson listed above is the father of Maria Jane Stinson born 27 Aug 1815 who married Charles Joyner.
