Polly (17) married Joel Harris Thomas (22) (born on September 27, 1820 in Mason, Kentucky; son of William Thomas and [mother]) on March 7, 1843 in Indiana.[1] Their son was James Thomas (1850–1916).

Polly died on July 5, 1878 in Putnam, aged 52. She was buried in Union Chapel Cemetery, Morton, Putnam County, Indiana.[3]
