Biography
William Stith was the son of Lt. Col. Drury Stith and Susannah Bathurst. He was recorded during the March 1741 Court of Charles City County when he and his mother presented the will of his father, further proving his elder brother Drury Stith was dead. During the May Court of 1748 he appears to have taken the oath to act in the militia in Charles City County.
