Elsie Annie Stocker's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1894 in the Lambeth district.[1]. She was the daughter of Edward Stocker and Anne Malschinger.
She went to stay with her aunt Bertha in Merthyr Tydfil after her parents died and married there at the age of 16. She drowned while trying to rescue her daughter Peggy from the River Avon in 1941.
