Shows a marriage between Julian and Peter in 1847 so this is impossible for someone born in 1840 as noted with the 1850 census previously found. Looking at the tombstone for Peter Newton III it has Julian's DOB as 1831.

Perhaps, the census is for a Julian born about 1840 though a marriage record to Isaac Newton has not been located.

"United States Census, 1870," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MX64-XSN : 17 October 2014)

"United States Census, 1880," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MHS9-65J : 7 July 2016),

These census records show her married to Peter with many children.
