Biography

He was the elder son.

His military record has his middle name. He was a Sgt with the 2nd / 3rd Field Regiment. S/N NX8722.

In January 1943 he was a returned Warrant Officer with the AIF and became engaged to Sister Catherine D'Ombrain. Her uncle was a Doctor in Lindfield.

In February 1949 he became engaged to Shirley Emirali.

STOCKWELL-—EMIRALI.—The Engagement is announced of Shirley, only daughter of Mrs. A. R. Emirali and the late Mr. A. R. Emirali, of Auckland, N.Z., to Errol, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Stockwell, of Hunter's Hill.

Their children were Karen Lee b 1950, Peter and Debra.

He died age 95. His death notice has a second middle name of Erskine.
