Biography

Nathaniel Stoddard was born on May 08, 1727 in Hingham, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay. His parents were Nathaniel Stoddard and Abigail Garnet..[1] He married Elizabeth Sprague on December 21, 1747. Together they had 12 children, all born in Hingham:

A "Cooper." He resided on North St., near Marsh's Bridge, in Hingham. He was a patriot soldier in the American Revolutionary War, rank of private. He served with Captain James Lincoln and Colonel Benjamin Lincoln, also with Lexington Alarm, Hog Reeve-Hingham in 1780.

He died on February 24, 1803 in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States.
