Hi Jackie!

I’ve not heard back from you regarding the Scotland Project check-in. I hope you are well and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello

It’s time for a Project check-in!

Scotland Project Leaders check in with you at least once a year to see how you are doing. With the changes happening around the world, we understand that life is hectic right now.

What are you planning to work on for the Scotland Project this year? Are you happy with the team(s) you part of, or would you like to make some changes?

This time round, we’re also looking for feedback on the use of Google Group and Discord. Do you use one or both of these? If you don’t use either of them, what is the best way to ensure you receive Project communications? If you would like to join us on Google Group or Discord, let us know in your response.

We'd love to have you join the Twisted Thistles in the upcoming Connect-a-thon the weekend of July 17 - July 20. If you'd like to join us and help to develop our ever-expanding Scottish tree, please register on the G2G post here and be sure to mention you'd like to be on the Twisted Thistles team for Scotland.

We also have our team Chat page posted here.

Hope to see you there!

Hi Jackie. I got the message you posted about your PGM ancestors. What is the "list" you are asking to be added to? If you are looking to join the PGM project, here is information about that: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Puritan_Great_Migration#How_to_Join

Have a good day, S

that was my Puritan ancestor list (so far) as I have many more ancestors to add one day!

Hi Cousin! I saw your post on Albini-39 and went to see if we're related (I'm a descendant of his too). WikiTree says we're 16th cousins, both descended from Margaret (Beauchamp) Welles. I knew about her, but looking through some of the other connections ("439 common ancestors were found between Jackie and Liz within 30 generations."), I found a bunch of "new-to-me" relatives. Love it when that happens!

Cheers, Liz

Hi Liz I think I have Shifflet DNA matches maybe on ancestry or FTDNA have you tested? PM me and we can email

thanks Jackie

your Noland sorry , think I have Noland direct

I don't think we're close enough for DNA to be useful, but if you have a male Noland, my Dad's been tested - both our profiles have the info posted (Dad = Noland-166).

Cheers, Liz

Hello, Jackie,

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the New Zealand Project and we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member and plan to contribute in the upcoming months.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things and remove you from the project. You will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you,

Hello, Jackie,

On behalf of the New Zealand Project, we are doing a periodic check-in with members. Please review the project page here, and if you feel you are able and would like to contribute to the project in the upcoming months, please let me know by commenting on my profile or sending a private message.

If you have other obligations or interests at the moment and would like to be removed from the project at this time, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you find yourself with more time and interest later.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Jackie,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi Jackie,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Jackie, you need to remove the 'Aristocracy and Nobility' category from your profile. This is an upper-level category and is NOT for individual profiles. I mentioned this to you back in December, but see you still have it there. Please remove it. Thank you.

Darlene: I was just about to message her again as was looking at the error on data doctors. Glad I scrolled down to your message.

Hi Jackie, while I do have largely Eastern European genetic evidence, I am Ashkenazi Jewish, and extremely unlikely to have royalty roots, from anything other that very ancient Middle East. However, my mother’s family traces back to Britain as far back as 1000’s. There were a few knights along the way. Perhaps I’ll find a chieftain one day.

Jackie, you posted a message directed to Norman Walters on the profile of Elizabeth Middleton. He's not a manager of that profile. Perhaps your message would be better placed directly on the profile of Norman Walters. - Bill Vincent
