Biography
Canterbury, son of Stephen and Elizabeth (Gill) Stodder, was born at Hingham, MA on July 5, 1709. He married Deborah, daughter of Joseph and Deborah (Clapp) Bates, at Hingham on November 9, 1734.
He died on May 30, 1742 at the age of 32. He drowned at Billingsgate offWellfleet Harbor, Cape Cod.
" Mariner." Constable in 1739. Resided in the second precinct.
