Biography
Samuel Stodder was born on September 22, 1728 in Hingham, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay. His parents were Joseph and Mercy Stodder.[1]
He married Ruth Litchfield of Scituate on June 21, 1755.[2] Our records furnish no further information relating to either parent.[1] Children all born in Hingham, second precinct:[1]

He died on January 13, 1798, possibly in Scituate.
Not to be confused with Samuel Stodder son of Stephen and Mercy with same birth date.
