Biography
Robert's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1859 in the Tynemouth district.[1] He was the son of William Stoker and Elizabeth Laverick. In the 1861 census Robert (age 1) was the son of William Stoker in Seghill, Northumberland, England.[2]
In the 1871 census Robert (age 11) was the son of William Stokes in Seghill, Northumberland, England.[3] In the 1881 census Robert (age 21) was a coal miner, the unmarried son of William Stoker in Double Row, Seaton-Delaval, Northumberland, England.[4]
Robert married Catherine M Wilson on 18 July 1885 in Morpeth, Northumberland, England.[5]
In the 1891 census Robert (age 31) was the married head of household in Hartley, Northumberland, England.[6]
