Ceremony was performed by David W. Eakins, Minister of the Gospel. Witnesses were D. N. Dickey, T. W. Hudson and F. J. Boykin. William died before 1871. They had 9 known children: Mary, John W., Jim, Eddie, Louise Elizabeth "Lou", Leona, Robert Lee "Bob", Ella, & Oralene. By 1880, Jane had remarried William Means.
