Enter a personal reminiscence or story.
Lester was featured in the History Channel's (TV) episode War Junk in May 2018. They found in the war tunnels a compass case with Lester's ID number engraved in it. Lester was said to have been a scout and dropped the case there. They contacted a close relative who said that after the war he cherished the compass and would hold it regularly until his death. Being a scout it was his salvation in those days. The relative gave the compass and case to a museum near where it was found
