Biography

John Stone was born 10 Jun 1684, in a region of Middlesex Co, which adjoined Sudbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony, but in 1700 became Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony. John Stone was the son of Daniel Stone and Mary Moore. John Stone married Anne Tillstone 31 Jan 1706/07 in Framingham, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Working Research Notes

Place of birth explained at "Gregory Stone Genealogy, Page 101. " born in a region adjoining Sudbury which was incorporated in 1700 as Framingham." That said, Framingham would by date not be correct place of birth. At the time of birth, Sudbury very likely were the family church would have been. In the period the church was pretty much the place where "Vital Records" lived.

2.) John Stone b. 31 Mar 1709 d. 5 Dec 1730 in Framingham, unmarried.

3.) James Stone b. 5 Jul 1711 d. 17 Jun 1754

4.) Uriah Stone b. 16 May 1713

5.) Anne Stone b. 21 Jan 1716 but died 13 Feb 1716.

6.) Abner Stone b. bef 18 Aug 1717 ( bapt on 18 Aug 1717) . His death date printed as 10 Sep 1745 but because his will was processed 23 Sep 1744, his death years probably is 1744.

7.) Abijah Stone b. 17 Jun 1719.
