I believe we have a duplicate Wilkes-1105 and Wilkes-1231. She was my aunt (wife of my father's brother Dr. Donald E Timmons, MD). Sadly she passed away a couple years ago. I can't confirm that they are the same person because the profile you manage shows her as living (and hence unlisted) but I feel pretty confident.

Hi, Gwendolyn.

I notice that you are completing quite a few merges--thanks for that! Just a reminder--don't forget to do a post-merge clean-up after you complete a merge, and be sure to try and find original sources for the profiles that you are managing. If you have any questions about how to find sources, you will find lot of resources--and questions and answers--on G2G here at Wikitree.

Thanks for being a Wikitree volunteer and helping build our tree.

Thanks for letting me know, that our BECKER ancestors appear not to be the same. Perhaps even further back in time, they'll connect? all the best!

Just noticed that your mother's maiden name is BECKER. Were they from Staufenberg, Hessen, Germany? If so, we're cousins through them!

Thank you so much for all of your work on the Maust families! I've long neglected them and appreciate your work!

Hello Gwendolyn!

I just saw that you worked some Maust's from Preston County, WV and got all excited! My Grandfather was Harry Ray Maust from Jumonville, Fayette, PA which is nearly next door. I have had the hardest time finding my Maust clan connections, but got really excited when I saw yours. I have a feeling they will connect at some point! Looking forward to working together to make that happen!

Thanks, Cindy Williams Lesure

Hi !

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Now it's time to pick a project that best fits the pre-1700 profiles you'll be working on.

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Look at the list of active projects to see if one fits your needs.

Once you find a project that interests you, visit their project page for more information and to find out how to join. You can also use the Following link to add the project tag to your profile, and you'll be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.

Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
