Mary Stone was born on March 25, 1898 in Murray City, Hocking County, Ohio, United States. Her parents were Martin Falkenstein and Catharine Novak.

Mary never married. She was employed as a manager at a bus terminal.

She died on July 31, 1956 in Wheeling, West Virginia at the age of 58 due to leukemia.
