to Bernard Feinstein ('Barnet') and Catherine Novack ('Katie').[1][2]

He attended the University of Pennsylvania for two years, while also working as a copy editor and rewrite man for Philadelphia Inquirer.[3]
(The 1940 census claims he finished three years of college.[6])
On 7 July 1929, he married Esther M Roisman, at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He was a reporter, and lived with his parents at 149 Kings Highway, East Haddonfield, New Jersey.
She was a secretary , and lived with her father at 5854 Pine Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He lived in Washington, DC, and was in Boston for medical treatment.
