Biography
George was born about 1780, probably in Fayette County, Kentucky. He is the son of Jacob Stone and Elizabeth Winters. He passed away on 11 October 1810 in Shelby County, Kentucky and is buried in Cochran Stone Waters Cemetery, Taylorsville, Spencer County, Kentucky.[1]
George married Anna Cochran, daughter of Robert Cochran and Jane Laird, about 1808. They had two children: Robert C. Stone (1809-1856) and Elizabeth George Stone (1810-1878).
