Biography
Sally (Sarah) Boynton Stone was born about 1814 in Gardner, Mass. to Simon Stone and Keziah Kendall.
In 1838, Sally married John Banfill at the Barnston Free Will Baptist Church, Barnston, Stanstead, Canada East.
Sally and John had eight children, all born in Waterville, Compton:
- Sarah Keziah b. 1838, m. Royal Richardson, d. 1907.
- Harriet Cordelia b. 1840, William H. Cowhard, d.1889.
- Francis "Fanny" Elvira b. 1843.
- William J. b. 1845, m.1866 Sarah E. Young, d. 1919.
- Joseph Albert b. 1847, m. 1876 Lucy Lothrop, d. 1931.
- Enos Leroy b. 1850, m. (1) 1878 Frances Ames, (2) 1887 Sarah Healy, d. 1901.
- Clarence August b. 1854, m. Mary, d. 1926.
- Henry Martin b. 1858, m. 1882 Rosa Burton, d. 1927.
Sally died on December 11, 1890 and is buried in the McIntosh Cemetery in Waterville, Quebec.[1]
