Biography
- Abigail Stone was born in Rutland, Massachusetts on May 20,1755, the daughter and one of the eleven children of Capt. Isaac Stone and Martha (Munroe) Stone. [1]
- She married Herman Bassett at Oakham May 26,1776[2] and they had five or more children. They lived in Oakham until after 1790, and then moved to Guildhall, Vermont. [1]
