Biography
Abner Stone was born about 1825 in Edgefield county, South Carolina. Abner was the son of
Abner married his first cousin Susannah Stone, daughter of David Stone and Sarah Wallace Stone, on the 11th of August, 1849 in Lincoln County, Georgia.[1]
Abner appears in the 1850 Federal census in Lincoln county, Georgia. Abner's household appears as follows: Abner age 22; Susanah age 25; Thomas age 7; and Austin age 16. Austin was Abner's youngest brother.[2]
Abner moved his family to Carroll County, Mississippi about 1859.
