Biography
In the 1841 England Census John Stonehouse 57 born abt 1784 in Durham, England, farmer, was head of his household in Page Bank, Brancepeth, Durham. Other Household Members, all born in Durham, were his wife Dorothy Stonehouse 57, William 20, Elizabeth 18, Mary 15, Jane 13, and Ann 9. The farm servants were James Brown 22, Anthony Hodgson 15, and Margaret Thompson 16. [1]
Elizabeth Stonehouse, spinster, died on 16 Jul 1893 and Mary Stonehouse, spinster, died on 28 Aug 1893 in Stockton-On-Tees, England. Probate was granted on 15 Jan 1895 in Durham to Frederick Robson gentleman and John Stonehouse Robson manufacturer [nephews]. Ancestry.com.
