Dorothea Stopford, daughter of James Stopford of Tara Hall, co. Meath, married 1stly Edward Brabazon, 4th Earl of Meath (who died in 1707). As Dowager Countess of Meath, she married General Richard Gorges after the death of his 1st wife in 1713. She passed away in 1729.[1]
