I am searching for information about Elizabeth's brother Zachariah Story/Storey. ZS had his land in South Carolina confiscated during the revolutionary war and was finally evacuated from New York Nov. 1783 and granted land in New Brunswick (now Canada) but in 1788, ZS returned to live with Elizabeth and her husband, at Nine Partners ... I am trying to understand why he returned, and if any family returned with him.

Story-416 and Storey-203 appear to represent the same person because: This wife needs a merge. No tree conflicts. Of the data, I would keep the Storey LNAB, and

Born March 12, 1729 in James Island, Charleston, South Carolina

married 1752 in Dutchess, New York, United States

Died 1783 in Washington, Dutchess, New York

Thanks!
