Biography
Enlisted 23 Jan 1884 in Troop M, 4th Regiment United States Cavalry during the Indian Wars and was part of the Apache Campaign, and received a pension for this military service. His military record is also under the name Thomas, which could be either his first or middle name, but all other records found for him are under name Michael without a middle name or initial. He has a younger brother named Thomas.
Son of a weaver, Michael was a well-known and successful Ladies’ Tailor in Denver.
