Biography

Irad was born, June 16, 1788 to Hemen Storrs and Alice (Cummings) Storrs[1]

"Irad Storrs was a quiet, upright man, and much respected."[2]

"Mr. Irad Storrs was born in Mansfield, Connecticut, in the year 1788. He was a farmer and resided on Spring Hill (Mansfield) nearly all his life. He was a good neighbor, an upright man, and held the respect of all his town's people." [3]

Irad Married Lovina Gurley, February 12, 1815.[4][5]

In the 1830 and 1840 Census, Irad is shown living in Mansfield.[6][7]
