Notes

A known descendant of Jonathan Green matched his DNA with a descendant of Martha Hazen Story who was married to Daniel Story. Is it possible that Eunice Story was the daughter of Daniel and Martha Hazen Story?

Unknown-488164 and Story-161 appear to represent the same person because: Both represent the singular spouse of Jonathan Green. It seems that the maiden surname of Unknown-488164 is now known.

I agree there are unknowns and the person is also descended from Mary Emerson's father, so there may be some shared DNA there. I can't find the book right now, but I did read recently in print that Jonathan Green married Eunice Story. I'll keep looking for that old book.

Here's the DNA shared info: Chr = 3 B37 Start Pos'n = 104,521,570 B37 End Pos'n = 115,818,840 Centimorgans (cM) = 9.8 SNPs = 410

Largest segment = 9.8 cM Total Half-Match segments (HIR) = 9.8 cM (0.272 Pct) Estimated number of generations to MRCA = 5.5 1 shared segments found for this comparison.

How did they determine that the descendant's DNA match was from Martha Hazen? A descendant of that marriage would carry DNA from Daniel Story and a descendant of Jonathan Green would carry DNA from Eunice Story. It may only mean that Daniel and Eunice were related in some way. After so many generations the match must not be very large.
