Hi A. S.,

I may be descended from the George Ingoldsby whose profile you manage. It looks like George may be the son of Richard and Winifred (Greenway) Ingoldsby.

Please see the profile for Antony Ingoldsby for the sources I'm using.

I'd like to collaborate in this line with you.

thank you,

PS On the profile for Antony's daughter Olive Ingoldsby, it shows the lineage from her to Saher de Quincy, Magna Carta surety baron (1155 - 1219), as evidenced by Douglas Richardson in his Magna Carta Ancestry series. I his Royal Ancestry series it shows her descent from the sister of William the Conqueror, Alice of Normandy (1035 - bef 1096).

Hi. I would like to propose a merge of UNKNOWN-49942 and Chittenden-26, based on matches of the parents and spouse. However, the dates don't match, and UNKNOWN-49942 claims to have been born in New Haven, Connecticut, two decades before Europeans arrived there.

Can you shed any light on (or supply sources for) the profile of UNKNOWN-49942?

Are you still active on WikiTree?

I would like to work with you on the Stout branch of our shared family. Thanks, Terry

Hi there,

We are really happy that you took the Pre-1700 certification Quiz. Thank you for doing your part to make WikiTree an accurate and openly collaborative place for genealogists to share their research.

Do you have some 1700's people in your tree already ? Now that you have the badge, you can take part in one of our historical projects.

If you have any questions, you can contact one of our Mentors or Volunteer Coordinator, Erin .

Have a great day !

About Edward James:

The profile has now sucesfull merged and I have edited the biography to the best of my abilities. I see you are using ancestry sources and even though they're okay I recommend you research and add any new sources you find. Once you have done this you can do what you like with the messed up sources under the sources heading.

Thanks, Matthew Gerrard

Please see the help page regarding dates. As the system is not designed to recognize BC dates please refrain from adding anymore BC profiles. Thanks!

For those who have not seen it before, there is an online paper from covering the years 1154-1484 and titled The Medieval Genealogy of Thomas Perkins of Hillmorton by Michelle Boyd. ( our Thomas Perkins-597 and Alice De Astley-1 ).

It shows how the tree breaks into an Ufton, Berkshire branch and a Hillmorton branch at William and Joanna (Reade) Perkins of Hillmorton.
